Hello! I’m Ugnė Šiškaitė, psychologist-candidate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
When counselling a person, I try to focus on building a close and deep relationship based on respect, understanding, acceptance and openness. Together with the person, we embark on a journey of discovery of his/her inner world, which will help him/her to better understand his/her own experiences and facilitate the desired changes.
I usually work with adults of all ages who are experiencing anxiety, fears, panic attacks, depression, various life crises, difficulties in managing emotions, interpersonal relationships, the need to know themselves better and to rebuild self-confidence.
My goal is to continuously develop and learn in order to be able to effectively apply the knowledge I have gained in my professional practice, which is why I am studying for a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy starting in 2023.
